Chanko Service Guide for International Guests
Please read this guide before booking.
Hakone & Odawara Chanko welcomes international guests. Japanese Delivery Health (Deriheru) has its own booking process and service rules, which may differ from services in other countries.
We want you to understand the location requirements, pricing, payment methods, booking conditions, and important rules before confirming your reservation.
Before You Book
Please prepare the following information when contacting us:
Hotel or accommodation name
Preferred date and time
Preferred companion
Course length
We will confirm the location, availability, applicable fees, payment method, and total booking price before your reservation is finalized.
Hotel & Ryokan Rules
Hotels and ryokan have different rules regarding outside visitors.
Staying at a property does not automatically mean that an outside visitor may enter the guest room.
Please send us the exact name of your hotel or accommodation before booking so we can check the location and visitor policy with you.
If outside visitors are not allowed
We can explain available alternatives depending on your location and may suggest a nearby eligible property or another practical option.
Any separate accommodation or room cost is not included in our service price.
Please do not attempt to bring a companion into an accommodation that prohibits outside visitors.
Service Areas & Transportation
Service is available throughout Hakone Town.
Service is available throughout Odawara.
Service may also be available outside Hakone and Odawara. Availability and transportation fees depend on the location.
Prices & Additional Fees
Some options require an additional charge. Please confirm the details when booking.
We will confirm your course, location, applicable fees, and total price before your reservation is finalized.
Payment Methods
Cash payment is available.
Credit card payments are available with a 20% processing fee.
The maximum amount per transaction is ¥50,000.
If your total payment exceeds ¥50,000, the payment will be split into multiple transactions.
The 20% processing fee applies to the total amount paid by credit card. Splitting the payment into multiple transactions does not add an extra 20% fee for each transaction.
We will confirm the payment method, applicable processing fee, and total amount before your reservation is finalized.

Language Support
International guests are welcome.
You can contact us using our available multilingual booking support.
Individual companions are not guaranteed to speak English, so please tell us if you have any language concerns when booking.
A Japanese phone number is not required.
Booking Confirmation & Cancellation
Before confirming your reservation, we will check:
- Location
- Companion availability
- Course
- Transportation fee, if applicable
- Additional charges, if applicable
- Payment method and processing fee, if applicable
- Total price
For bookings to distant areas, we may ask for a partial advance payment as a deposit to help prevent last-minute cancellations. The amount and payment method will be explained before your reservation is confirmed.
Bookings generally cannot be cancelled after confirmation.
